Mathias Schrader, also known as MATVOLUTION, was born in 1979 in Krefeld, Germany, near Cologne. He developed a passion for music at an early age, starting with playing drums in several bands. However, he later transitioned from drums to turntables and a mixer. In the early 2000s, he performed at numerous clubs in his hometown, including Königsburg, Meilenstein, Alter Wartesaal, Privé, Q-Club, and many others.
With his unique blend of Melodic Techno and Progressive music, MATVOLUTION had the remarkable ability to transform every dancefloor into a lively, energetic environment.
In 2020, he launched his own radio show called "BASEMENBEATS" on one of Ibiza's largest radio stations, Ibizaliveradio.com. Tune in and enjoy the music!
